Technology has the power to transform healthcare systems globally. However it is, with good reason, highly regulated and often has high barriers to entry.  This makes healthtech start-ups challenging.  I know this because I founded my own healthtech company and know what it takes to get 'from 0 to 1'. 

My experience in both private and public healthcare within the UK gives me a good working knowledge of selling enterprise solutions to large hospitals as well as having an extensive network within healthcare. 

I like to work with forward thinking, ambitious healthtech companies who are pursuing impactful visions as I truly believe that purpose AND profit can co-exist.

I am a former British Army Officer where I worked as a physiotherapist and an operations manager.  Following my military career I worked in elite and high performance sport at England Rugby and subsequently at the Royal Ballet School where I devised and implemented a high performance health care service.

Following an MBA I founded my own healthtech company, navigating the regulatory barriers that are inherent within this sector.  My knowledge of the healthtech ecosystem incorporates selling enterprise solutions to the NHS, understanding of NIHR, Innovate UK and AHSNs.  

It is this experience that gives me a very good understanding of the unique challenges that face start ups.
